Bill entered the construction industry in 1974 working with a framing contractor in Lincoln, Nebraska. After two years, Bill ventured out on his own and started his own framing company in Salina, Kansas. In 1979, Bill was offered a position as Construction Manager for national builder and worked as a builder, even owning his own custom home building company, until 1988.

In 1988, Bill made the short jump from home building to new home warranty sales. Working for another warranty company for 11 years, Bill achieved a remarkable track record of sales. He was the recipient of numerous awards including the National Outstanding Achievement Award in 1997 and 1998 and the Wakiyan Hotonpi in 1996, 1997 and 1998, the company's highest honor. Since joining the Bonded Builders team, Bill continues to provide builder members with outstanding customer service, earning the prestigious President’s Award in 2004.

In addition to his work for Bonded Builders, Bill is active with his local home builder associations in Dallas, Ft. Worth and Tyler. Bill serves on the Education Committee of the HBA of Greater Dallas and BBWG is a co-sponsor of their annual membership trip. Bill is a Life Spike member of the National Association of Home Builders. Through the NAHB, Bill has earned the professional designations of CAPS, CGP and CGA.

Bill and his wife Juanita have three grown children and reside in the north Dallas area.
